About the performance
Children of all ages and adults will delight in this madcap adventure to the heart of Flamencolandia. A spirited troupe of flamencos hot on the trail of Don Quixote embark on a journey filled with colorful characters, dazzling footwork and silly sing alongs. Featuring a multi-talented and bilingual cast, this introduction to flamenco highlights the regional variety of flamenco and its power to encompass the range of human experience and emotion. Bay Area flamenco companies AguaClara Flamenco and San Francisco Flamenco Dance Company team up for this whimsical take on the passionate Spanish art form that will captivate children and adults alike.
This performance is a family show that runs 55 minutes. Flamenco is a lively art form and audience participation is encouraged. Don't worry if your kids shout OLÉ! We welcome it!
